Are you ready to elevate your audit career? This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Supervisor or current Assistant Manager to manage your own client portfolio within a dynamic mid-tier firm located in the heart of Central London.

The Role

As an Assistant Audit Manager, you'll embrace a leadership position, overseeing audits and managing client portfolios while collaborating closely with a supportive team. Initially, you'll spend more time in the office during your onboarding, transitioning to a flexible hybrid model of 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Audits: Manage and oversee the audit process from start to finish.
  • Client Engagement: Handle a diverse portfolio of clients in dynamic industries.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior staff, fostering their professional development.
  • Client Relations: Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring they receive the high-quality service the firm is known for.
  • Technical Excellence: Prepare accounts and ensure compliance with UK GAAP and IFRS standards.
What We’re Looking For
  • Qualifications: ACA or ACCA qualified, with 1-2 years of post-qualification experience (PQE).
  • Experience: At least 3 years of audit experience, ideally from a mid-tier firm; candidates from large or small firms will also be considered.
  • Skills: Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS, excellent communication skills, and experience in accounts preparation and staff supervision.
  • Ambition: A motivated individual eager to progress, with a clear pathway to promotion to Manager within a year.
