If you are the ambitious type and have some time at a post-qualified level and a diverse client portfolio background, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Role Overview:

As an Audit Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in managing audit engagements from start to finish, while leading and mentoring junior staff. Working across a diverse portfolio of clients in industries such as media, retail, property, hospitality, fashion, and recruitment, you'll be responsible for ensuring high-quality service delivery, maintaining client relationships, and contributing to the development of the team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is ACA or ACCA qualified and ready to advance their career in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

What you will be doing as an Audit Assistant Manager

  • Manage audit engagements from planning through to completion, including fieldwork and reporting.
  • Lead and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and constructive feedback.
  • Ensure audits are delivered within agreed budgets and timelines.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and assist with resolving any issues.
  • Contribute to recruitment, HR activities, and team development within the practice.
  • You will work with a diverse range of clients across sectors including media, retail, property, hospitality, fashion, and recruitment, among others.

What you'll need to succeed

  • ACA/ACCA qualified with (ideally) 1.5 - 2.5 years post-qualification experience.
  • Experience in IFRS, UK GAAP, and complex consolidations.
  • It would be beneficial if you had a split of accounts work in your current role also.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
