The Role

As an Assistant Audit Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing and executing audits, leading a talented team, and building client relationships. Initially, your time will be focused in-office for onboarding, transitioning to a flexible hybrid model (3 days in-office, 2 days remote).

Key Responsibilities
  • Audit Leadership: Oversee and lead the audit process from planning to completion.
  • Portfolio Management: Manage a dynamic portfolio, working with high-profile clients across exciting industries.
  • Team Mentorship: Support and guide junior staff, helping them develop their skills and progress in their careers.
  • Client Relations: Maintain strong, productive relationships with clients, ensuring a seamless experience.
  • Technical Standards: Prepare accounts and ensure compliance with UK GAAP and IFRS standards.
What We’re Looking For
  • Qualifications: ACA or ACCA qualified, with 1-2 years of post-qualification experience (PQE).
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years in audit, ideally from a mid-tier firm; however, candidates from all firm sizes are welcome.
  • Skills: Strong UK GAAP and IFRS knowledge, exceptional communication, and experience in accounts prep and team leadership.
  • Ambition: A proactive professional eager for career progression, with a path to Manager within 12 months.
