Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Audit Manager to join our expanding London team. Ideally, you will have experience from a Big 4 or Top 10 environment and be ready to take ownership of a diverse client portfolio while managing a team of auditors. What you will be doing as an Audit Manager

  • Manage your own portfolio of clients, including those operating under IFRS and FRS 102, across various sectors.
  • Lead and mentor a team of auditors, ensuring the delivery of high-quality work and supporting their professional development.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of audit assignments, meeting client and regulatory deadlines.
  • Maintain and build strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact and providing strategic advice where needed.
  • Review audit work and financial statements, ensuring compliance with technical standards and firm policies.
  • Identify and resolve audit issues, providing innovative solutions and value-added advice to clients.
  • Assist with business development efforts, contributing to the growth of the audit practice through networking and client proposals.
  • Drive efficiency and process improvements within the audit team to enhance service delivery.

What you'll need to succeed

  • ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with significant experience managing audits within a Big 4 or Top 10 environment.
  • Proven experience managing clients under IFRS and FRS 102, with a strong technical understanding of audit standards and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to manage, mentor, and inspire a team of auditors.
  • A forward-thinking and proactive approach, with a strong focus on client service and business development.
