Are you a newly qualified accountant with 1-2 years of post-qualification experience, ready to take on a bigger challenge? My client, a Top 50 firm is looking for a motivated, driven Audit Manager to work on a broad range of their financial services audit clients. You'll get the opportunity to work with high-profile clients in the financial services sector, from wealth managers to fintech companies and investment funds.

Role Overview:

What you will be doing as an Audit Manager

  • Managing a portfolio of financial services clients.
  • Lead Your Own Audits: You'll manage the entire audit process, from planning to completion, making key decisions and taking ownership of the results.
  • Client Facing: Build strong relationships with clients, acting as their go-to expert for all things audit and compliance. You'll be the face of our firm in the financial services world!
  • Be a Mentor: Develop and coach junior auditors, helping them grow and thrive while sharing your knowledge and skills.
  • Problem Solver: Work closely with team leaders to find innovative solutions to complex audit challenges.
  • Tech Savvy: Use cutting-edge tools like CaseWare, Xero, and data analysis techniques to streamline processes and drive better outcomes.

What you'll need to succeed

  • ACA/ACCA qualified with (ideally) 1.5 - 2.5 years post-qualification experience
  • Ideally, you will have managed your own portfolio of financial services clients (or at least have some FS clients)
  • You will have strong communication skills and a natural ability to connect with clients and colleagues alike.
  • You should be an ambitious individual, whether it's leading audits, managing teams, or building client relationships
  • You're familiar with CASS regulations (or ready to become an expert in them!).
