- Managing a portfolio of audit clients across a range of industries.
- Leading and reviewing audit engagements from planning to completion.
- Supervising and mentoring junior team members, providing training and development.
- Ensuring audits comply with all relevant standards and regulatory requirements.
- Acting as the key point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and providing strategic insights.
- Reviewing financial statements and ensuring technical accuracy.
- Working closely with partners and other departments to support business growth and client service.
- Managing budgets, deadlines, and ensuring efficient audit processes.
- ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent).
- Significant experience in audit within a practice environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, and auditing standards.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong client-facing and relationship management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
- Experience with audit software and modern accounting tools.
