Audit Manager

This role as an Audit Manager requires an individual with a strong background in practice to manage a team and varied corporate portfolio. The successful candidate will oversee auditing assignments, ensure compliance with regulations, and provide guidance and support to audit teams and clients.

Description

• Oversee auditing projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget.
• Manage a varied portfolio of clients in and around London
• Provide guidance and support to audit teams and clients.
• Ensure all auditing activities from the initial planning stage through to completion comply with current regulations and UKGAAP and IFRS standards.
• Evaluate financial documents for accuracy and compliance.
• Manage relationships with clients to ensure solutions are sourced, their needs are met and exceeded.
• Participate in business development activities to expand client base.
• Keep updated with CPD and relay any new regulations standards to your team ensuring compliance
• Continuously improve auditing process by implementing new and effective auditing techniques.

Profile

A successful Audit Manager should have:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification, such as ACA, ACCA, CA or equivalent.
• Proficiency in auditing software and MS Office Suite.
• Exceptional knowledge and practical experience of auditing principles and regulations.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven experience in a managerial role within the professional services industry.
• Must have experience from a UK practice firm
• Must have full UK working rights
