Audit & Accounts Manager / Audit Manager - SUPERB ROLE

McGinnis Loy Associates is proud to be working with a fast-growing & entrepreneurial Top Accountancy Practice who is looking to strengthen their General Practice function and recruit a Qualified ACA/ACCA Audit & Accounts Manager for their West London offices. Reporting to one of the Directors, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading a variety of interesting and larger Audit assignments across multiple industry sectors, liaising with Partners when required
  • Reviewing audit files, undertaking audit planning and leading/assisting juniors with fieldwork
  • Ensuring audit assignments are completed to a high standard, in time and within budgets agreed with Directors/Partners
  • Supervising and reviewing on-site jobs completed by up to 4 junior members of staff
  • Using accounting software to provide accurate reporting for clients and third-parties
  • Preparing monthly and quarterly management accounts for limited companies and partnerships where required
  • Finalising statutory accounts and related papers as required by Partners for final review
  • Reviewing corporate tax computations and returns including VAT
  • Inputting to service and product pricing, including new client fee quotes
  • Applying your technical knowledge to juniors through on the job training

To be considered for the role you should be a Qualified ACA or ACCA Audit & Accounts Supervisor or Manager, ideally with 3+ years post-qualified Audit experience of small and medium-sized corporate businesses, and a working history either in a Top100 or a well-established regional Accountancy firm. You will have experience working in a team environment on multiple audit clients, building relationships with clients and internal management teams, and being able to prioritise and work to strict audit deadlines. As you will be attending client sites, you do need to be a car driver for this position.

On offer is a salary to £75,000 depending on experience & qualifications with benefits to include company pension, healthcare and 23 days holiday.
