The Role

As an Audit Manager, you'll take full ownership of a varied client portfolio, managing relationships and ensuring smooth delivery of audits and accounting services. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading audit planning, supervision, and review processes
  • Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts in line with UK GAAP and FRS102
  • Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff, including performance reviews and development support
  • Managing billing and other client-related administration
  • Engaging in ad-hoc business consultancy and supporting new business development efforts

Ideal Candidate:

ACA or ACCA qualified professional with a minimum of 5 years' post-qualification experience in a professional services environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Strong audit experience across a range of clients and industries
  • Knowledge of UK GAAP, FRS102, and IFRS
  • Experience in managing audits from start to finish
  • Leadership and supervisory skills to support the growth and development of junior staff
  • A solid understanding of corporate, personal, and indirect taxes
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant accounting software
