Summary:

Join our client, a dynamic and commercially-minded audit firm, as an Audit Manager! We are seeking a qualified professional with a minimum of 5 years' experience post qualification within a Corporate Audit and Accounting environment. As an Audit Manager, you will report directly to the Audit Partner be responsible for managing a portfolio of corporate clients from various industries and direct line management of an Audit Senior. This is a permanent, full-time position offering a competitive salary ranging from £60,000 to £65,000 per annum.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review statutory accounts in accordance with UK GAAP and IFRS.
  • Plan, supervise, review, and assist with audit work.
  • Assist with the completion of Corporation Tax Returns and Partnership Tax Returns.
  • Supervise junior staff and provide assistance with their professional development.
  • Manage billing and perform staff-related administrative duties.
  • Provide ad hoc business consultancy services.
  • Assist in generating new business opportunities.
  • Take on other ad hoc duties as required.

As the role progresses, there may also be the opportunity to assist with staff recruitment.

The Candidate:

Our client is looking for an ACA or ACCA qualified candidate with a proven track record in auditing. The ideal candidate should have experience in UK GAAP, IFRS, and International Standards on Auditing. Proficient technical ability and an awareness of corporate tax, personal tax, and indirect tax are desired. Leadership and supervisory skills, excellent communication abilities, and strong Microsoft Office skills are essential. We expect the successful candidate to contribute their ideas and experience to our dynamic audit department.

It would be advantageous for the candidate to have experience with PROaudit, Iris, and Caseware, but training will be provided where necessary.
