- Lead and manage audit assignments from planning through to completion for a diverse portfolio of NFP clients.
- Ensure audits are carried out in compliance with regulatory standards and the firm’s internal quality processes.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing them with expert advice on complex financial and audit-related matters.
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of auditors, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- Assist in the development and implementation of audit strategies, improving efficiencies and client service.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring long-term partnerships.
- ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with significant post-qualification experience.
- Extensive audit experience within the Not-for-Profit sector is essential.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing audit teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Up-to-date knowledge of UK audit regulations and NFP accounting standards.
