BD Manager - Finance, Real Estate, & Projects (12-Month FTC)We're proud to be working with a renowned international law firm, who are currently looking for a BD Manager to support their finance, real estate, and projects groups, on a 12-month contract basis. With a welcoming, progressive, supportive firm that really demonstrate their commitment to people, you will be in an excellent position to progress your career even further and demonstrate your skillset.The RoleYou'll be joining a team overseeing practice group BD, client development, brand and online marketing, and communications. You'll manage BD plans for finance and real estate projects, with support from a BD executive. The finance group handles complex transactions globally, while the real estate and projects group advises on investment, infrastructure, and rail projects, with international links.Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Collaborating with practice leaders to draft and execute BD aspects of business plans.
  • Helping partners differentiate their practices and develop key selling messages.
  • Developing and executing client relationship plans, acting as account manager for key clients.
  • Managing tender and panel opportunities, crafting persuasive, tailored content.
  • Creating customized credentials documents showcasing expertise across practice areas.
  • Understanding and cross-selling practice group offerings within the firm.
  • Mentoring participants in the 'High Potential' Senior Associate Programme on BD plans.
  • Reviewing Legal 500 and Chambers submissions for consistent, high-quality messaging.
  • Working with the events team to deliver outstanding client events and co-host opportunities.
  • Continuously improving BD practices and outcomes, sharing market and competitor insights.
  • Liaising with the communications team on media plans for each practice group.
  • Managing, mentoring, and supporting the BD executive, ensuring quality service and output
  • Other ad hoc duties
