They are now looking for a seasoned and visionary CFO to join their executive team in Central London and spearhead their financial strategy for the future.

Role Overview:As CFO, you will be an integral part of the leadership team, overseeing all aspects of financial management across the organisation. In collaboration with the CEO and Board, you will shape and implement the company’s financial strategy, supporting sustainable growth and ensuring the organisation’s financial strength. This is a key opportunity for a finance leader with a successful track record in the consumer goods sector, strong leadership abilities, and a strategic approach to navigating complex financial environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and leading the company’s corporate strategy and annual business plans to meet objectives efficiently and cost-effectively.
  • Building strong relationships with investors, leading fundraising initiatives to secure the financial resources required for ongoing growth.
  • Managing and developing a high-performing finance team, ensuring targets and deadlines are met while fostering professional growth.
  • Collaborating with the CEO and Board to define and refine the company’s strategic direction, including forecasting, budgeting, and strengthening key stakeholder relationships.
  • Identifying and capitalising on new business opportunities to propel the company’s expansion and success.
  • Implementing and maintaining robust financial controls to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with industry standards.
  • Preparing and presenting the operating budget to the Board, aligning financial outcomes with organisational goals.
  • Overseeing all fiscal activities, including revenue, expenses, balance sheets, and banking operations.
  • Managing the production of monthly financial reports, statements, and cash flow projections.
  • Ensuring the accuracy of tax filings and maintaining compliance with all financial regulations.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified (or equivalent), with proven experience in senior finance roles.
  • Significant experience in leading and developing finance functions, ideally within the e-commerce or retail industry.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge and a solid grasp of financial strategy.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • A track record of managing and developing high-performing teams and fostering a positive, results-driven culture.
  • An ability to work with precision in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including financial modelling and reporting.
