Collections and Portfolio Manager - Property Finance

Up to £38,000 + Bonuses

Mayfair / London

Hybrid - Friday working from home

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

The key task for this role is to deliver high levels of service so that borrowers’ needs are met and delivery of appropriate outcomes.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day support in management of a variety of accounts. The role covers all aspects of account management to mitigate the risk to the business, including telephone activity, customer correspondence, collection's process pre and post expiry and to support the ongoing projects and validate exits where the Collections function has been requested to review problem accounts.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE ROLE WILL BE: -.

  • Use a variety of tools and techniques to initiate and maintain contact with borrowers requesting financial information with clear deadlines and provide borrowers with all available options open to them to ensure an appropriate outcome is achieved.
  • Provide help and guidance to our borrowers who are facing difficulties exiting their bridging facility and taking responsibility by finding resolutions for our borrowers and dealing with more sensitive situations will be key.
  • Effective questioning and communication to understand borrower’s circumstances to access the plausibility of exit strategy but still provide a professional and value service so that relationships are maintained.
  • You’ll be key in building relationships with our solicitors, receivers with borrowers and key stakeholders.
  • Understanding the markets, products, and operating environment, to enable you to support the design of learning and development solutions that add value to our borrowers.
  • Review and assess developments, making accurate and informed decisions in relation to their progress, planning etc. and to ensure that a full and accurate response is provided.
  • Creating account strategies that build on your insights into the borrower’s situation and define your strategy for supporting and developing of assets..
  • Present a professional image of the company to deliver positive customer experience throughout the customer journey Ensure effective management is carried out on your portfolio to provide value service so that relationships are maintained.
  • Consistently complete security assessment reviews and referred key cases to mitigate risk and minimize potential financial losses.
  • Explore alternative options with customers to ensure accounts are managed to exit in a timely manner.

  • Must have experience in managing Secured Collections.
