Are you a qualified accountant with a passion for commercial finance and experience in the FMCG industry? Our client, an innovative and fast-growing beauty brand, is seeking a skilled Commercial Finance Manager to join their team.
In this newly created role, you’ll be pivotal in building and leading the FP&A and Business Partnering function within the finance department. You’ll take ownership of budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and all financial planning processes. Working closely with the CFO, you’ll prepare board reports, update investors, and provide insights through ad hoc analysis.
Your role will involve significant collaboration with non-finance directors and their teams, supporting areas such as Direct-to-Consumer, Pricing, Promotional Strategy, and Brand Marketing by offering valuable financial insights to shape strategic decisions. You’ll also partner with operations to address stock issues, enhance service levels, and streamline systems and reporting for maximum efficiency.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with a strong foundation in FP&A and commercial finance in the FMCG sector. Analytical skills are key, as is the ability to turn data into actionable insights. Strong communication skills will be essential for building impactful relationships across both finance and non-finance teams.
