The leading UK publishing business is seeking an interim Commercial Finance Manager to provide BAU support during a system implementation.
The role involves weekly and monthly reporting, ad hoc financial projects, financial analysis, and supporting various commercial modelling.
Candidates must be fully qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with at least 4 years of post-qualification experience, specifically in the media sector.
The position offers a hybrid working arrangement with three days per week in the Central London office and a contract duration of six months starting in January.
The salary for this role ranges from £70,000 to £80,000 per annum.

Our Client

We are working with a leading UK publishing business to find an interim Commercial Finance Manager to provide BAU support while they undergo a system implementation.

Key Responsibilities

Weekly and monthly reporting - business KPIs, working with stakeholders
Ad hoc financial projects including process improvements and identifying efficiencies
Financial analysis of business performance
Supporting on modelling for various commercial strands - subscriptions, editorial costs, analytics team

The Successful Candidate

Fully qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA ) with 4 years post qualification experience
Commercial industry experience in an FBP / Commercial Finance Manager role
Media sector experience is essential
Experienced contractor - someone who is used to hitting the ground running and identifying where to add value from day one
