H9 Technical Recruitment are hiring for a Corporate Finance Associate to work at our clients office in London to be responsible for supporting the execution of corporate finance transactions including M&A, capital raises and strategic advisory mandates

Our client is an advisory firm specialises in renewable energy, infrastructure and clean technology







Role and Responsibilites:

  • Transaction Execution: Assist in the end-to-end execution of M&A, capital raising, and other corporate finance transactions, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes for clients.
  • Financial Modelling: Develop and maintain complex financial models, including valuations, scenario analyses, and project finance models, to support decision-making processes.
  • Research & Analysis: Conduct in-depth industry research, market analysis, and company evaluations to identify trends, risks, and opportunities within the renewable energy and sustainable infrastructure sectors.
  • Client Engagement: Work directly with clients, presenting findings, preparing transaction materials (e.g., information memorandums, pitch books), and managing day-to-day communications.
  • Due Diligence: Coordinate and conduct due diligence processes, ensuring thorough analysis of financial, commercial, and operational aspects of deals.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Liaise with various stakeholders, including clients, investors, legal advisors, and internal teams, to manage project timelines and deliver successful outcomes.
  • Business Development Support: Assist senior team members in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through market research, pitch preparation, and relationship management.




Education and Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. A master's degree or professional qualifications (e.g., CFA, ACA) is a plus.
  • Experience: 2-4 years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, M&A advisory, or a related field. Experience in the renewable energy sector is advantageous.
  • Technical Skills: Strong financial modelling and analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel and other financial software. Experience with valuation techniques such as DCF, precedent transactions, and comparable company analysis.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Organizational Skills: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team Player: A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within a small team and take on responsibility.
  • Passion for Sustainability: Strong interest in renewable energy, sustainability, and driving positive change through finance.
