Our client, a prominent and rapidly expanding corporate finance team, is seeking a motivated and ambitious Corporate Finance Manager - Transaction Services to help drive their transaction services practice. This role will offer a broad range of transactions and significant client exposure, with the potential to progress rapidly into a senior leadership position.
What you will be doing as a Manager in Corporate Finance
- Transaction Leadership: Take ownership of financial due diligence projects, reporting to the Partner and/or Director, ensuring delivery within timelines and budgets.
- Client Interaction: Participate in presenting key findings to clients and their advisers, providing expert insights into deal dynamics.
- Team Management: Lead teams to complete due diligence analysis, assisting with team training and development.
- Business Development: Proactively participate in business development initiatives, building and maintaining relationships with clients and stakeholders, and assisting in the preparation of marketing materials and proposals.
- Project Management: Manage the scope of work, budgeting, and coordination with other internal teams (e.g., tax) and external advisers (e.g., lawyers).
- Administrative Support: Oversee engagement letters, client onboarding, transaction file maintenance, and billing processes.
What you'll need to succeed
- Transaction Services Experience: Proven experience in Transaction Services, specifically in leading due diligence engagements and preparing reports.
- Analytical & Reporting Skills: Strong business reporting writing, analytical skills, and project management capabilities.
- ACA/ACCA Qualified: A commercially astute Chartered Accountant, ideally with a background in audit before specialising in Corporate Finance.
- Client-facing Confidence: Ability to confidently present findings to clients and stakeholders.
- Leadership & Team Management: Demonstrated ability to lead a team and drive assignments to successful completion.
