We are working with a UK-based specialist finance broker, focused on providing tailored financial solutions for property transactions. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Corporate Lending Manager to join the team in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new corporate lending customers, managing and retaining high-value clients, and expanding our network within the property finance sector. This role is crucial for driving business growth and maintaining the highest standards of client service.
Key Responsibilities:
Generation of New Corporate Lending Customers:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the corporate lending space.
- Develop tailored financing solutions to meet the specific needs of property transaction clients.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to structure deals that align with client goals.
Retention of High-Value Customers via Portfolio Management:
- Manage a portfolio of high-net-worth clients, ensuring the highest levels of service and satisfaction.
- Regularly review client portfolios to identify opportunities for additional lending or refinancing.
- Proactively address client needs and concerns to maintain strong, long-lasting relationships.
Networking and Business Development:
- Build and maintain a strong network of contacts within the property finance sector
- Attend industry events, seminars, and networking functions to promote our services
- Act as an ambassador for the company, consistently demonstrating our commitment to excellence
Required Experience and Skills:
- Proven experience in corporate lending, relationship banking, or high-net-worth broking.
- Deep understanding of the UK property market and associated financial products.
- Strong track record of generating new business and managing high-value client relationships.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, with a proactive approach to business development.
- High level of professionalism, with a commitment to ethical business practices.
- A degree in finance, business, or a related field is preferred.
- Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., CeMAP, CFA) would be an advantage.
