Corporate Tax Assistant Manager/Manager in a Big 4 Accountancy Practice based in London! We are working closely with our prestigious client to further expand their increasingly growing corporation tax team focusing on clients within the financial services sector.Clients include household names within the industry allowing a diverse portfolio and the ability to gain an insight into different tax issues.Benefits

Responsibilities and DutiesAs a Corporate Tax Assistant Manager/Manager, you will be responsible for building relationships with clients and understanding how to tackle tax issues related to their needs as well as managing a client portfolio and ensuring firms' compliance is upkept. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Managing a diverse portfolio of clients and overseeing compliance and advisory projects
  • Providing tax planning and advisory work to clients
  • Supporting tax audits of large international corporates
  • Developing the wider team through the involvement of training, technical education, and soft skill development
  • Ascertaining and solidifying client relationships with both international and UK clients

RequirementsCandidates will ideally need to be fully CTA, ACA, ACCA or AAT qualified (or equivalent) current or past experience in practice.Additional requirements include:

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan and prioritise workload and meet deadlines
  • Exhibit strong communication skills
  • Experience in delegating and developing junior members of staff
  • Be able to grow and establish strong connections with both clients and the team
  • Ability to seek out new opportunities with sound commercial awareness
  • Able to adapt to clients' needs
