About the Role: As a Corporate Tax Assistant Manager at this top 75 accountancy firm based in London, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing tax compliance and advisory work for a variety of corporate clients. You will support senior managers and partners on complex tax matters, ensuring client needs are met with the highest standards of service. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse portfolio of corporate clients, providing comprehensive tax compliance and advisory services.
- Assist in the preparation and review of corporation tax returns and other compliance documents.
- Provide expert advice on corporate tax planning, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), group reorganizations, and international tax matters.
- Support senior management and partners with strategic tax planning and business development initiatives.
- Lead and supervise junior staff, providing guidance, training, and professional development opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met efficiently.
- Stay up to date with changes in tax legislation and industry developments, and incorporate these into client solutions.
Requirements:
- ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified (or equivalent) with significant corporate tax experience.
- Proven experience in managing corporate tax compliance and advisory work.
- Strong understanding of UK corporate tax laws and international tax principles.
- Excellent client-facing skills, with the ability to communicate complex tax issues clearly and effectively.
- Strong technical and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
