They are currently looking for an ambitious Corporate Tax Assistant Manager to join their dynamic tax team in London. About the Role: As a Corporate Tax Assistant Manager at this top 75 accountancy firm based in London, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing tax compliance and advisory work for a variety of corporate clients. You will support senior managers and partners on complex tax matters, ensuring client needs are met with the highest standards of service. This role will allow you to gain exposure to high-profile clients and projects while developing your leadership skills and advancing your career.

You will have the opportunity to work with a highly skilled and collaborative team, gain experience across multiple sectors, and help shape the direction of tax strategies for some of the firm's key clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a diverse portfolio of corporate clients, providing comprehensive tax compliance and advisory services.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of corporation tax returns and other compliance documents.
  • Provide expert advice on corporate tax planning, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), group reorganizations, and international tax matters.
  • Support senior management and partners with strategic tax planning and business development initiatives.
  • Lead and supervise junior staff, providing guidance, training, and professional development opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met efficiently.
  • Stay up to date with changes in tax legislation and industry developments, and incorporate these into client solutions.

Requirements:

  • ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified (or equivalent) with significant corporate tax experience.
  • Proven experience in managing corporate tax compliance and advisory work.
  • Strong understanding of UK corporate tax laws and international tax principles.
  • Excellent client-facing skills, with the ability to communicate complex tax issues clearly and effectively.
  • Strong technical and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Leadership qualities with the ability to mentor and manage junior staff.
