Please note, that this role is based at an Accountancy Practice and requires an experienced Accountant who is ideally professionally qualified.
Responsibilities of the role will include:
- Managing a team of tax practitioners
- Advise a diverse portfolio of clients on their tax related work
- Reporting directly to the partners of the firm
- Attend client meetings and managing the relationships
- Responsible for monitoring own time budgets and chargeability.
- Attendance and contribution at internal departmental management meetings.
- Assist in the training and development of junior members of the team
Candidate specifications:
- Fully qualified accountant (ICAS/ICAEW ACA/ ACCA/CTA or similar) is essential
- Proven tax background gained within an accounting firm
- Strong UK Tax experience is essential
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Great team player, who enjoys a collaborative environment
- Excellent attention to detail, deadline orientated and able to manage multiple clients
- Constantly strives to learn new skills and excel in your role
- Customer focused and able to build good working relationships, becoming their trusted advisor.
