Job Purpose- Oversee a diverse portfolio, acting as clients’ go-to advisor
- Oversee the provision of advisory and compliance services, championing service excellence at every step
- Review of corporation tax returns and computations prepared by the tax team
- Working directly with Partners to ensure expectations, deadlines, and budgets are being met
- Analyse and interpret data to prepare tax advice based on findings
- Attend prospect meetings and work with other departments as required
- Lead liaison with HMRC on behalf of clients, proactively handling enquiries
- Oversee junior staff, including monitoring workflow, reviewing work, and identifying training opportunities
- Proactively investigate and identify opportunities for the firm and clients
- Set an example as a hands-on Manager, promoting and maintaining a positive team culture

- Qualified by experience also considered
- At least 5 years’ UK practice experience
- Proven leadership and portfolio management experience
- Excellent IT skills, including Caseware, SAGE, QuickBooks, MS Office
- Strong understanding of current UK tax and general accounting regulations
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally
- Strong time management and a positive, can-do attitude when working under pressure
- Highly organised, with the ability to meet deadlines

- Strong commercial business acumen
