Are you looking for your next move in Corporate Tax at a progressive accountancy practice? Our client with a history of promoting staff through their organisation is seeking a qualified (ACA or ACCA) with substantial practical experience in UK Corporate Taxation.

Please note, that this role is based at an Accountancy Practice and requires an experienced Accountant who is ideally professionally qualified.

Responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Managing a team of tax practitioners
  • Advise a diverse portfolio of clients on their tax related work
  • Reporting directly to the partners of the firm
  • Attend client meetings and managing the relationships
  • Responsible for monitoring own time budgets and chargeability.
  • Attendance and contribution at internal departmental management meetings.
  • Assist in the training and development of junior members of the team

Candidate specifications:

  • Fully qualified accountant (ICAS/ICAEW ACA/ ACCA/CTA or similar) is essential
  • Proven tax background gained within an accounting firm
  • Strong UK Tax experience is essential
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Great team player, who enjoys a collaborative environment
  • Excellent attention to detail, deadline orientated and able to manage multiple clients
  • Constantly strives to learn new skills and excel in your role
  • Customer focused and able to build good working relationships, becoming their trusted advisor.
