The role is to work closely with a new Partner joining from a leading international firm in London. This role will act as a "2nd in command" and therefore tangible and realistic career progression is available in this role as the new Partner is joining to head up the group and build it out further.

The team in which the role is based will benefit not only from their existing corporate tax workload and client base but be supplemented by the new hire's client base, and the genuinely collegiate and collaborative teams that the corporate tax group work closely with. The group advises on several matters, including but not limited to transactions including cross-border takeovers, mergers & acquisitions, management buyouts, joint ventures, real estate holding structures, private equity and venture capital as well. The firm is seeking an ambitious senior associate that is keen to develop their own career and assist growing the group. This role will allow the new hire ample responsibility and also the opportunity to leverage existing relationships that the firm and the new Partner have to business develop as well. Corporate tax remains one of the few busy areas in this market and there is significant workflow exposure available for the new hire to get stuck into.

The new joiner can expect to be rewarded with a competitive salary at a firm that offers an exceptional work/life balance, genuine progression prospects and the chance to work alongside an ambitious Partner in the area.

The PQE mentioned is only a guide. Anyone with the necessary skills to succeed may apply.
