Our client, a global bank, is looking for a Counterparty Credit Risk Manager. The successful candidate will be tasked with the analysis and reporting of counterparty credit risk (CCR) across all activities and regions. This is a thrilling opportunity to contribute to the establishment and development of suitable monitoring and reporting standards.

What you'll do:

As a Manager for Counterparty Credit Risk, your role will involve working on the analysis and reporting of counterparty credit risk (CCR) in line with the team's mission statement. You will engage in the production and review of the management information framework, while coordinating with other members of RISK and Metiers. Your responsibilities will also include managing relationships with key stakeholders across RISK department, Business and externally to ensure that a high quality integrated service is provided on time.

  • Engage in the production and review of the management information framework
  • Coordinate and prepare material for main risk committees within the MI CCR scope
  • Oversee the production of other relevant reports to various stakeholders
  • Review the quality and efficiency of work within the team and evaluate business and industry trends
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders across RISK department
  • Influence and support members of the team where problems are more complex
  • Contribute to process improvement and innovation efforts by further developing tools and processes that quantify, explain and convey risk insight

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Manager for Counterparty Credit Risk position will bring expertise in management of counterparty risk along with excellent analytical skills. You should have strong skills in people management with an ability to set individual objectives and manage performance. Your excellent communication skills will be essential for managing meetings or committees. A general IT competence is required, and qualifications or certifications such as FRM are preferred. Technical skills in Python and Knowledge on Market Risk are also desirable.

  • Expertise in management of counterparty risk
  • Excellent analytical skills with ability to translate technical concepts
  • Strong skills in people management with ability to set individual objectives and manage performance
  • Expertise in managing meetings or committees; excellent communication skills - oral and written.
  • General IT competence.
  • Qualifications / Certifications: FRM preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Python (Basic); Knowledge on Market Risk (Proficient)
  • Behavioural Skills: Creativity and Innovation / Problem Solving (Proficient); Ability to develop and adapt a process (Proficient); Ability to develop and leverage networks (Proficient)
  • Management Skills: Ability to Inspire Others / Generate Commitment (Proficient); Personal Impact / Ability to Influence (Proficient)
