HFG is delighted to be working with an established Lloyd's reinsurer. They are looking for highly skilled and experienced Credit Controller to join their team. The Credit Controller will be responsible for overseeing and managing all Credit Control activities on their Syndicate side. The selected candidate will report into to the Finance Operations Manager

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that Credit Controlling is performed to a high standard to include attending regular meetings with internal and external parties.

  • Attend regular meetings with the Syndicate Accounting team to effectively target and resolve aged debt issues.

  • Collaborate with the Finance Operations Manager, Credit Controllers and UW Operations Manager to support continuous improvement of current processes and controls.

  • Responsible for the Credit Control of all outstanding balances (under individual accountability) including maintaining the input and timely reconciliation of cash receipts.

General Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Credit Control lead within a property/speciality Lloyd's syndicate, Accounts Receivable lead or in a related role, with a track record of successfully managing internal or external teams to deliver BAU activities.

  • Ability to manage competing stakeholder demands and prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Experience of process improvement
