My client a global shipping company are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Credit Control Manager to join their friendly and welcolming team!

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing company that will offer a huge amount of progression and development. 

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Proactively manage the Liner customer outstanding freight position in the EUA region and minimise overdues.
  • Work closely with global offices and Third-Party Agents, to ensure prompt collection of overdue outstanding freight.
  • Coordinate with regional and trade heads on significant overdue cases to resolve them.
  • Identify and address process issues in a professional manner.
  • Ensure outstanding's and overdues comply with KPIs set
  • Ensure compliance with the global credit policy and review/approve credit applications.
  • Participate in system/process developments when required.
  • Lead, train, and manage the Credit Control Team, fostering a positive team culture.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in credit control/outstanding freight management
  • Proven ability to manage and develop a team.
  • Proactive attitude with the ability to complete tasks independently within deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills with stakeholders at all management levels.
  • Proficiency in written and oral English.
