An exciting opportunity to lead the Credit Control team for an award-winning, fast-growing insurance broker!

This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven Senior Credit Control Executive or a Manager to grow their existing experience in the field of insurance.

Reporting to the Finance Director, your responsibilities will encompass taking care of the day-to-day credit control-related matters. Being business aware, you will regularly review the performance of the team, through completing 1-2-1s, and conducting coaching sessions whenever appropriate. 

Ensure that the Credit Control team operates effectively by providing staff with clear and well-defined job responsibilities, and offering robust support to help them achieve their goals. This includes maintaining open and effective communication, delivering comprehensive training, and organising their administrative workload efficiently to foster productivity and success.

You will be based in their beautiful modern offices in Twickenham. Working hours are- early – 8.30 - 17.30, mid – 9.00 - 18.00 (This will be the main shift, but you may need to work early or late shifts on occasion to cover the business), late – 10.00 – 19.00. You will be expected to work 1 in 5 Saturdays from 9.00-15.00.

This position will require direct interaction with the team and when needed with third parties via phone, messages, and written correspondence. To excel in the role, it's essential to possess a keen attention to detail, focus on mentoring and the capacity to reconcile somewhat intricate mathematical matters.

Skills and competencies-

  • Insurance experience preferred, or, you bring the foundation of experience and training can be provided on the insurance side of things!
  • Experience of 2+ years in credit management or debt collection.
  • Clear and concise communication skills, to liaise with all levels of business.
  • Proactive and driven approach with an impeccable focus on understanding the intricacies of customer service.
  • Resilience and negotiation.
