Your New Role
- Managing payment collections through a dedicated debtor ledger and issuing statements to clients.
- Oversee a team of 2 credit controllers
- Building and maintaining relationships with key contacts at both client and agency levels.
- Proactively identifying potential payment delays and escalating concerns to the appropriate individuals.
- Providing insightful debtor commentary for weekly and month-end reporting.
- Participating in weekly debtor calls with agencies to discuss current statuses and address any challenges with key accounts.
- Representing the team in client and agency meetings as needed.
- Preparing bi-monthly cash flow forecasts
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Extensive experience in credit control
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in financial software such as FreshBooks, Opera and Xero
