  • Our client co-educational organisation is seeking an experienced Database and Finance Manager to join their dynamic team.

  • Key responsibilities include being the primary point of contact with Blackbaud, running complex data segmentation for mailings, overseeing database updates, producing regular reports, and ensuring compliance with HMRC requirements.

Our client co-educational organisation is seeking an experienced Database and Finance Manager to join their dynamic team. The Database and Finance Manager will manage and provide strategic direction for the organisation's operations including: Raisers Edge database, gift processing, financial reporting and GDPR. You will also be responsible for compliance and managing the operational strategy to succeed in annual plans.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Be primary point of contact with Blackbaud; Run complex data segmentation for mailings and oversee database updates following the mailings (e.g. Campaign review, fundraising appeals, alumni bulletins and newsletters)
  • Produce regular reports to analyse the Foundations engagement and fundraising activities to help assess performance and inform future plans
  • Responsible for Foundation Office compliance with HMRC requirements
  • Work closely with Finance Department in preparation for the annual Audit

About you:

  • Excellent computer and database management skills, including in depth knowledge of Raisers Edge, Word and Excel
  • Experience in working in a small team and a willingness to assist in meeting deadlines
  • Capable of working effectively under pressure and with changing priorities
  • Proactive approach to work and problem solving
