Our client is seeking a Deal Advisory Tax Manager to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, challenging, and rewarding environment, providing market-leading services to both Corporate and Financial investors. The successful candidate will have the chance to work on strategic acquisitions, carve outs, de-mergers, disposals, and joint ventures both in the UK and cross-border.

What you'll do:

As a Deal Advisory Tax Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional advice and service on complex transactions. You will be instrumental in pursuing new opportunities, developing proposals, and participating in pitches. Your excellent interpersonal skills will enable you to build strong relationships with clients as well as with your team. Your role will involve preparing detailed technical advice on a range of UK and international tax issues. You will also perform detailed analysis of tax-related documents/data, highlighting key issues, and articulating their commercial impact.

  • Work closely with Partners and/ or Directors on complex transactions
  • Support in the pursuit of new opportunities, working on proposals and joining pitches
  • Develop and maintain client relationships alongside Deal Advisory
  • Be a key point of contact for clients, legal advisers, and other teams to facilitate effective delivery
  • Coach and develop colleagues, collaborate with peers and be constantly learning
  • Prepare/ oversee detailed technical advice covering a range of UK and international tax issues
  • Perform/ oversee detailed analysis of tax related documents/ data, highlighting key issues and articulating the commercial impact of these to the client

What you bring:

As the ideal candidate for the Deal Advisory Tax Manager position, you bring along your qualifications (CTA or ACA/ CA or equivalent) coupled with your ambition and enthusiasm for working on transactions. Your strong interpersonal skills complement your excellent written and oral communication abilities. You possess robust UK corporate tax knowledge along with awareness of other tax matters. Your strong analytical skills are matched by your commercial approach to resolving issues. You are adept at project management, demonstrating an ability to work effectively as part of a team.
