The Company: Global Alternative ManagerThe Location: West EndThe Role: Deputy Corporate ControllerA Global Alternative Manager based across the US and London is at scaleup stage adding to their London offices. Reporting directly into the FC within a finance function of 4, they are looking for a "second jobber" or someone 6 - 18 months post qualification who wishes to expedite their career, learning off of the FC and CFO. Broad role with exposure across all finance areas.The Responsibilities:
- Review of management accounting packs
- Assistance in internal and external audit processes
- Assistance in Regulatory reporting
- Assistance with corporate tax, and other tax reporting (in conjunction with the Head of Tax)
- Accounts payable process oversight for the management companies
- Day to day management of the Accounts payable person
- Management of the Accounts payable automated process
The Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant ideally with 1-2 Years PQE
- Strong across management accounting preparation
- Experience working with or within an Alternative investment manager
- Self-starter, ambitious, capable of multi-tasking across broad areas within the finance function
