Seeking an International Tax manager with an international tax background and with experience in the Polish direct tax field to join the EU direct tax advisory team for a listed client in the consumer sector.

Primary responsibilities will include:* Advising, coordinating and problem-solving across a multi-functional team, including business, legal, accounting, finance.* Supporting international and local tax controversy teams on tax audits in Poland.* Researching and documenting direct tax issues, including coordination with external advisors and support presentation of tax impacts.* Reviewing new business initiatives and scoping any effect on existing processes and systems.* Investigating and responding to internal and external information requests.

Qualifications expected from the candidate:* At least 8/10 years advisory experience in a large accounting/consultancy practice, law firm, tax authority or business in-house.* Proficiency in English and possibly in Polish.* Bachelor's degree in tax, accounting, finance, or related field.* Experienced in Polish tax legislation* Excellent written and oral communication skills

This is a 9-month contract with hybrid working available (2 days in office).
