The Role:

  • Growth requires us to build out more deal teams, this role is to lead a deal team. Deal team consists of lead advisor, deal support function and admin assistant.
  • We provide advisory services to a wide variety of clients and therefore advise on a wide range of financing products/structures. The candidate will benefit from exposure to the variety of client types and deal structures.
  • Reporting into and working directly with CEO and alongside Sales Director.
  • We have a strong origination function, so origination is not a primary objective for the candidate, but you will be expected to invest speculative time into various potential clients originated by the company.
  • There is an existing client base to reach into and multiple new inbound leads every week for the candidate to meet with and qualify.
  • Role spans across origination, engagement, marketing transactions and managing completion processes. Leading a team through the entire deal process.
  • Help to build consistent workflows across operational processes to lay foundations for continued growth and to support growing headcount.

Responsibilities:

  • Meet with and prospect potential new clients.
  • Qualification of new client transactions.
  • Financial analysis of clients and building transaction. materials.
  • Execution of client transactions, ensuring success.
  • Build/maintain valuable lender relationships.
  • Build/maintain valuable introducer/partner relationships.
  • Joint responsibility over company sales & growth.
  • Responsible for deal team sales targets.

Targets:

  • Complete 6 transactions in year 1.
  • Minimum average total fee’s of £75k.
  • Build new lender relationships.
  • Minimum completion rate on engaged deals 75%.

Candidate Requirements:

  • 3 Years+ Experience working in debt advisory or bank/alt lender.
  • Own network of lenders/investors.
  • Own network of partners/introducers.
  • Existing client base not required, but useful.
  • Competent in financial analysis (CFA preferred).
  • Ability to build IM’s & financial models.
  • Culture fit with the company.
  • High quality people skills.
  • High motivation & drive.
