Our client, a major public sector organisation, is looking to appoint an experienced Finance Director on a permanent, full-time basis to lead its Finance and Procurement functions. This is an exciting opportunity to oversee long-term financial planning, statutory reporting, and procurement within the context of large-scale property and regeneration projects.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading all aspects of financial management, from long-term planning to daily operations
  • Delivering statutory reporting, budgeting, and forecasting in collaboration with senior stakeholders
  • Overseeing procurement and contract management, ensuring value for money and compliance with regulations
  • Managing a talented team of finance professionals to deliver high performance across management accounts and financial reporting
  • Collaborating with senior leadership, external auditors, and public sector bodies to ensure financial transparency and accountability
