The Company
I am hiring a Director of Risk for a very exciting fintech based in London that focuses on B2B lending for mid-sized to large enterprises. In this role you will be leading multiple functions and being the risk SME for the business both internally, and externally to investors and C-Suit.
The Role
As a Director of Risk, you will be:
- Structuring lending deals with large businesses and making sure these are in line with regulations
- Setting up risk policies and frameworks for risk analytics, collections, underwriting, and financial crime
- Using data to make important business decisions
- Working closely with Product development as the Risk SME for the business
- Development and implementation of risk strategies for the business and business partnerships
- Managing the business-to-business relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Managing key stakeholder relationships with C-suite and investors to highlight risks the business may face
Your skills and experience
To be successful as a Director of Risk, you will need:
- Strong experience working for a credit fund.
- Strong experience setting up risk frameworks and polices for different products across a business
- Experience working with underwriting teams, finance and merchant assessment
- Ideally, experience working with credit funds
- A strong data-driven mindset being able to drive decisions using purely data
