Page Executive are working with a large-scale, international Group that is seeking to appoint a Finance Director to lead one of their largest divisions (c£400M+).

Our client is an international services provider with operating divisions around the world. Their UK business covers the entire country, and this particular division is the largest in the business with annual turnover of c £400M+. We are seeking a Finance Director to lead all elements of finance within the division and work closely with the operational leadership team, the UK CFO & Board.
Description
The Divisional Finance Director will oversee all areas of financial reporting and commercial finance within the division. Working closely with the UK CFO, the successful candidate will take on a high-profile role and be tasked with strategic financial planning, process improvement, driving financial performance, providing commercial insight, and ensuring robust financial controls across the division. Responsibilities will include:
Strategic Financial Leadership:
- Working with the CFO and leadership team to develop and implement financial strategies to support overall business objectives.
- Lead the financial planning process, including the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and strategic multi-year business plan.
- Provide strategic recommendations to operational MD's and the executive team based on detailed analysis and projections.
Financial Management & Control:
- Oversee all areas of financial reporting, ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Ensure robust financial controls are in place to safeguard company assets and maintain the integrity of financial statements.
- Manage cash flow, treasury, and working capital to ensure the business meets its financial obligations.
- Develop and implement improved financial reporting and reporting systems & controls where necessary.
Commercial Insight & Decision Support:
- Provide data-driven insights to improve business performance and support decision-making across the organisation.
- Lead the evaluation of major business cases, including capital investments, acquisitions, Bids & Tenders
- Oversee the financial aspects of ongoing cost-management initiatives.
- Presentation of financial reports & analysis at board-level in partnership with the CFO.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, ensuring they deliver maximum value to the business.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within finance, leading by example to drive innovation and a 'Best in Class' mindset and approach.
- Encourage and drive the development and enhancement of financial systems, processes, and reporting tools.
Profile
Knowledge & Experience:
- Qualified accountant with significant post-qualification experience of commercial finance, financial control & reporting.
- Extensive experience in a senior finance leadership role, ideally within a large, complex organisation.
- Proven track record of delivering strategic financial leadership and influencing C-Suite stakeholders and operational leadership teams.
- Strong experience in financial planning, analysis, and providing operational finance support to commercial business areas.
- Substantial experience in managing large finance teams, enhancing performance and team development.
- Ability to handle transformation-related projects and implement process improvements.

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing finance team.

Job Offer
£160,000-£180,000 + Benefits
Please note - this role is full office based, with a requirement to be on-site with the finance team 5 days per week.
