Dynamics 365 F&O Project Manager

Robert Half is supporting their client, a Global Consulting Firm, in searching for a Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) Project Manager to lead a greenfield implementation programme of Dynamics 365 F&O, spanning 12-18 months.

• Start Date: ASAP (1-week turnaround subject to onboarding checks)
• Work Arrangement: Remote, with occasional onsite presence (1 day per month) in London
• Rate: c. £600-650 per day via umbrella
• Duration: Initial 6-12 months, with potential extension for the full programme duration (12-18 months)

The Dynamics 365 F&O Project Manager will focus on:

• Dynamics 365 F&O Expertise:

  • Managing end-to-end delivery of Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations implementations.
  • A strong understanding of financial modules, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, budgeting, and financial reporting.
  • Expertise in operational modules such as procurement, inventory management, and supply chain management.

• Greenfield Leadership:

  • Leading the planning, execution, and delivery of the greenfield Dynamics 365 F&O programme.
  • Defining project scope, objectives, and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Facilitating requirements-gathering workshops to understand business needs.

• Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Ensuring alignment of Dynamics 365 F&O solutions with business objectives, particularly in finance and operations.
  • Collaborating with finance, supply chain, and technical teams to ensure a smooth implementation process.

• Project Governance:

  • Managing resources and budgets to meet project objectives within defined timelines.
  • Proactively identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Overseeing dependencies and ensuring timely resolution of issues.

• This is a greenfield project with significant scope for shaping processes and delivering transformational impact.
• Candidates will undergo vigorous financial and criminal checks, which may take up to two weeks to complete.
