EMEA Credit Control Team Leader

Central London / Hybrid working

£52,000 - £58,000 + guaranteed 5k bonus

This is a newly created role working for a prestigious company who are currently going through a global AR restructure. You will report to the Head of Credit and have responsibility for managing the credit and cash team of 8. They are looking for a strong people manager who also has had exposure to process & system improvements. They are going through a period of change and looking for a dynamic credit professional who is looking to progress their career and who will help drive the credit function forward.

  • Responsible for managing a team of 6 - setting & monitoring of KPI’s, maximising the efficiency of the team, ledger reviews, recruitment, appraisals, training & encouraging career development
  • Be primary point of contact within Credit for the Sales teams and internal stakeholders
  • Assist with the management of key accounts, ensure clients are happy with the service they are receiving
  • Be part of the review of business processes and process improvement, improving efficiency throughout the organisation
  • Ensuring the current ERP and systems are being used to their maximum potential eg automation & reporting improvements
  • Review and monitor current and changing collections processes with an eye to constant improvement.
  • Closely monitoring domestic/international market changes to highlight risk and limit future financial risk to the business
  • Raise the reputation of the Credit department internally and externally, ensuring a good level of professionalism is maintained
  • Monthly aged debt, credit and cash reporting & anlaysis with commentary

Requirements

  • Ideally 3-4 years experience as a Credit Control Team Leader
  • Experience covering EMEA & APAC essential (Just UK won't be considered)
  • Ideally looking for someone who is wanting to learn and progress in their career
  • Ability to work in a pressured, dynamic & entrepreneurial environment in a growing and changing commercial business
  • Experience of working across multiply ERP’s and experience/involvement in systems upgrades or implementations
  • Experience of process improvement to drive out inefficiencies
  • Ability to communicate confidentially at Director and CFO level
