Finance Administrator (Assets)

The finance administrator (assets) role is based within a renewable, leading data company in the City of London. The company is looking for a personable, confident, and relevantly experienced candidate to join their fun and growing team.

Their global organization is rapidly becoming a world leader for GPU-based solutions by designing and operating ultra-efficient green HPC infrastructure. The role is based in London, with the headquarters based in Germany!

Description

• Asset Management:Maintain a comprehensive asset register, including details of acquisition, depreciation, cost centre allocation and disposal
• Conduct regular asset audits and reconciliations to identify discrepancies
• Prepare asset-related schedules for financial reporting
• Collaborate with Procurement and Operations teams to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records
• Coordinate with other departments for asset transfers and disposals
• Ensure compliance with asset-related policies and procedures

• Inventory Management:Facilitate the process of regular inventory counts and reconciliations
• Support the implementation of inventory control systems and procedures
• Collaborate with Procurement and Operations teams to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records

• Financial Analysis:Prepare financial analysis on asset and inventory balances/projects
• Calculate depreciation and amortisation expenses (within SAP 4 HANA and manual estimations, where required)
• Provide insights into asset and inventory projects
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes

• Data Management:Maintain accurate and up-to-date asset and inventory data in the financial system (SAP)
• Develop and maintain reports / dashboards to track asset deliveries against large contracts and deployment schedules
• Ensure data integrity and consistency

Profile

• Be ACCA / ACA Part-Qualified / Finalist
• Experienced in use of SAP 4HANA
• Personable and confident
• Able to conduct above reposibilities without assistance
