Finance and Administration Manager | Exciting Architecture Start-up | London

Harmonic is excited to partner with a sustainable, architect-led construction firm in London, seeking a Finance and Administration Manager to join their close-knit studio. Known for their beautiful residential projects across London, this firm prioritizes sustainability and innovation in every endeavour.

The studio is a close-knit team of passionate creatives, dedicated to their craft. They are seeking a dynamic finance and administrative professional who shares their enthusiasm for architecture, construction, and design. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a studio environment and is eager to gain valuable experience in both finance and the. The successful candidate will lead the finance function and collaborate closely with top architects and designers.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all financial activities and ensure fiscal health
  • Collaborate with outsourced accountants for accurate financial reporting
  • Manage client invoicing and assist in creating quotes and payment schedules
  • Develop financial forecasts and manage accounts
  • Ensure understanding of CIS and VAT regulations
  • Source quotes and manage supplier payments
  • Build and maintain supplier relationships
  • Support the senior team with construction schedules and site team coordination.
  • Liaise with clients and organize project meetings.
  • Draft and manage contracts; maintain document control.
  • Ensure compliance of statutory obligations
  • Prepare and edit documents, reports, and letters to support business operations.

What we need to see (essential):

  • Experience in the construction/architecture industries
  • Strong administrative and system experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Genuine interest in the built environment space

What we'd like to see (preferred):

  • Experience using Xero
  • Knowledge of InDesign
  • Experience in IT support

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 + benefits

Start Date: ASAP

Location: London

Part Time Option: 3-4 day week option available
