The Role
As the Finance and Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial health and operational efficiency of the agency. Working closely with the CEO and senior stakeholders, you will ensure robust financial processes, manage budgets, and drive operational improvements. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing the day-to-day financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports for senior leadership.
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and overseeing tax and regulatory requirements.
- Managing supplier payments, invoicing, and reconciliations.
- Partnering with department heads to support financial decision-making and strategic growth initiatives.
- Overseeing operational functions, including office management, HR administration, and process improvement.
- Liaising with external accountants, auditors, and legal advisors as needed.
About You
To thrive as a Finance and Operations Manager in this creative agency, you’ll be a part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with previous experience in an agency setting. You will bring a strong financial skill set and a proactive, problem-solving mindset. The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a finance role within a creative, media, or marketing agency.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management.
- Experience using financial software and accounting tools.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across teams.
- A keen eye for process improvement and operational efficiency.
The Offer
