Pentagon Talent are currently partnering with a prestigious global law firm who are seeking a Finance Business Manager, in their London office, to support one of their largest and most successful global practice groups. If you have a strong background in finance, business management, and professional services-especially within the legal sector-this could be your next big opportunity. This role will involve close collaboration with senior leadership to drive operational and financial excellence.

Responsibilities for the Finance Business Manager:
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to develop and implement strategic business plans
  • Drive financial performance improvements by monitoring key metrics such as cost management, profitability, and productivity
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for the practice group
  • Provide pricing support for major client pitches and transactions
  • Oversee headcount planning, staffing models, and resource allocation
  • Support investment decisions, including lateral hires, promotions, and exits
  • Collaborate with business services teams to enhance operational efficiency
  • Lead engagement activities to foster collaboration and communication across teams
The Ideal Finance Business Manager:
  • Proven business management experience, ideally within a professional services or legal environment
