Partner Financial is collaborating with a PE backed business with significant market presence, currently entering a phase of rapid expansion. The company is undergoing a commercial overhaul due to further investment.

As the Finance Business Partner, you will be the financial lead for the technology and product initiatives, providing insightful analysis, partnering on commercial decisions, and ensuring that every financial aspect aligns with their growth objectives and ROI. You will be the go-to person for all things finance, helping to drive performance while challenging the status quo.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, especially the Chief Technology Officer and Chief Product Officer
  • Evaluate product and technology investments, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and visible ROI
  • Leading the development and tracking of KPIs for performance across your directorates, creating a culture of accountability and collaboration
  • Serving as a trusted advisor, providing financial insights and recommendations to drive decision-making capabilities across all levels of the organisation
  • Challenging teams proactively on performance, priorities, and strategies to drive business growth
  • Leading post-investment reviews, sharing insights and lessons learned with stakeholders to inform future decisions

Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) with demonstrated relevant PQE, preferably in an ecommerce business
  • Previous experience in business partnering with either technology and/or product teams is essential
  • Experience in building business cases, with a proven ability to evaluate costs, benefits, and performance impacts to support significant projects and investments
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build relationships and provide financial advice to senior leadership
  • Proactive problem-solving approach with the ability to challenge teams on performance, propose efficiencies, and support growth through data-driven financial insight
