My client - a Not For Profit organisation based in the KINGS CROSS area is seeking a Finance Business Partner to join them whilst they experience unprecedented growth for a 12 month period.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Produce and monitor salary forecasts discussing issues with budget holders as appropriate;
  • Ensure that monthly consolidated management accounts are available to budget holders in line with agreed timetable;
  • Review budget holders’ forecasts for accuracy and reasonableness
  • Process monthly amended forecasts provided by budget holders
  • Draft monthly reports for management team based on the management accounts
  • Provide support to budget holders in controlling their budgets, resolving queries as they arise and provide additional information when necessary;
  • Liaise with budget holders to ensure restricted funding is appropriately spent and recorded;
  • Produce a budget timetable in consultation with the director of finance and ensure this is communicated to all relevant staff;
  • Provide finance support to budget holders during the annual budget process;
  • Input final profiled budget onto the accounts system.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Studying for a Financial Qualification
  • Intermediate Excel skills - knowledge of look-up tables and sum ifs essential.
  • Positive, "can do" attitude with the desire to take ownership of assigned tasks and projects.
  • A sense of pride in maintaining a clean and accurate set of financial records.
  • Confidence to interact with all staff across the finance team and the wider business.
