Robertson Bell are partnering with this growing housing association whilst they recruit for a permanent Finance Business Partner. As the Finance Business Partner, you will be at the forefront of financial management and strategic planning for care and support services. Your role will involve providing timely and accurate financial information to support decision-making, improve financial performance, and advise budget holders.

Key responsibilities:

  • Oversee all budgeting, financial performance reporting, forecasting, and business analysis for care and support.
  • Play a crucial role in preparing the 5-year budget, developing a responsive budgeting system aligned with strategic plans.
  • Prepare accurate and meaningful monthly management accounts for executive review.
  • Meet with budget holders to ensure budget positions are understood and corrective actions are taken for any projected overspend.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors during the audit process.
  • Lead financial modelling for care and support projects, including contract renewals and new business tenders.
  • Present financial scenarios to the Executive Director to support informed decision-making.

This position will be based in North London with two days a week required in the office and very flexible hours on offer. This organisation has a strong reputation for providing employees with generous benefits including the option to buy and sell additional annual leave.

Essential criteria:

  • CCAB Qualified or nearly qualified.
  • Experience of care and support within either a charity, social housing provider or a local authority.
  • Proven experience in a business partnering role.
  • A clear and capable communicator.
