Finance Business Partner (Business analyst) being recruited for Transport business in London!

£60,000 - £70,000 + Benefits + Hybrid Working

I am hiring a Senior Finance Business Analyst (Finance Business Partner) for an established, global Transportation company.

This is an an exciting opportunity to join a values led business, with people at the core of their culture and a strong belief that individuals who work together make a difference. You will be part of a high performing Commercial Performance Finance team where people's successes are recognised and celebrated. In this role the successful induvial will be working in a highly commercial capacity helping to produce finance business cases, support on M&A activity and identify business growth areas.

This role comes with a high visibility to senior leaders in the business and given the recent and ongoing growth the business is celebrating, development and succession planning will be a part of ongoing conversations.

Key candidate requirements for this role:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA)
  • Commercial finance experience
  • Prior experience in business partnering and commercial business cases
  • Strong communicator able to communicate with customers, operations, suppliers and internal teams
  • Professional, committed, conscientious, pro-active and innovative
  • Positive attitude to change and ability to be flexible to the changing priorities of the role
  • Ideally transportation or construction experience but other industries will be considered.

Key responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop and maintain a professional and proactive business relationship with all levels of customer representatives
  • Build partnerships and strong relationships with all senior managers, stakeholders and their teams providing financial support to commercial decision making
  • Challenge and support the business in driving business growth initiatives, including business cases and in-depth commercial analysis
  • Develop and execute actions to improve financial performance
  • Support M&A activity and viability of new acquisitions
  • Drive growth and ensure commercial control of projects delivery process
