We are excited to be working with an internationally recognised FMCG company to recruit a skilled Finance Business Partner. This position is ideal for candidates with experience in FMCG, retail, or consumer goods sectors who are eager to contribute to the success of a global brand.

Salary & Benefits:

  • £50,000 - £60,000 base salary
  • 8% performance bonus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary finance partner for the Directors, focusing on performance across multiple product categories.
  • Provide financial analysis and commentary throughout the monthly cycle
  • Manage and analyse customer profit & loss (P&L) accounts, delivering insights and recommendations to finance
  • Review and challenge trade investments, ensuring compliance with guidelines.
  • Lead the analysis of volume, mix, and pricing for the channel.
  • Oversee pricing, promotional funding, and trade spend approvals, ensuring audit compliance.
  • Assist with month-end closing activities, working closely with relevant teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
  • Support internal audit controls and collaborate with auditors on year-end processes..
  • Continuously seek more efficient ways of working across the team and business.

Key Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a commercially focused role in a similar industry
  • Strong business partnering skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information across various departments.
  • Proficient in finance systems, with advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience in managing P&L accounts and conducting variance analysis.
