Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary contact for all financial inquiries and issues within the division.
  • Collaborate closely with divisional leadership to meet revenue goals and support strategic business decisions, enhancing returns for the division.
  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes for the division, overseeing them from start to finish.
  • Conduct weekly performance analyses and prepare monthly divisional reports, assisting leadership in presenting insights to senior executives.
  • Analyse depot profit and loss statements to identify and rectify discrepancies.
  • Process large volumes of data to extract key trends and anomalies, adapting swiftly to changing demands and communicating findings effectively.
  • Develop robust business models that accurately reflect service costs, ensuring compliant pricing for new opportunities and contract renewals.
  • Identify opportunities for profit enhancement through detailed financial analysis.
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of divisional performance metrics and financial results to both division and group leadership.
  • Report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for the division, including financial performance, variance analysis, margin analysis, and cost control.
  • Actively participate in the logistics leadership team, providing support to ensure overall targets are met.
